NSWC PHD RADAR TOWER
DAM NECK NAVAL BASE
VIRGINA BEACH, VA
DAM NECK PROJECT
BACKGROUND
As a result of our diverse skill set and quality of work, we were selected by the Navy to build their new radar tower. This tower mimics the Radar masts of the US Naval Fleet. The platforms, radar locations and elevations are critical when aiming out to sea and were crucial to the design element. Due to the nature and location of the project, we were required to adhere to the 230 pages of the United States Military specifications and security requirements in addition to meeting and/or exceeding engineering codes
