Overview
Church steeples are a great cellular antenna location, but do come with their own set of problems:
Space inside steeple can be restricted and prevent much equipment from being installed
Construction can often be older which may require additional supports
Access to the location can sometimes require the use of a man lift.
Using church steeples to conceal cellular antennas has its advantages over mono-pines or mono-palms as they are truly concealed by something that is already there. This allows for carrier antennas to go virtually unnoticed by members of the community. The New England region has many churches that we have mapped for our clients in order for them to gain the ability to add additional carriers and revenue streams.
