Field Technician

Mount Mappings

$50,000.00 to $70,000.00 DOE

Field Tech

Job Responsibilities - Primary

​

· Perform inspections and mappings of telecommunication structures, foundations, mounts, and associated equipment. This requires traveling to and ascending the structures;

 

· Prepare reports detailing the findings of inspections, mappings, and summarizing completed work;

 

Job Responsibilities - Secondary

​

· Perform tower maintenance and minor construction on telecommunication structures. This requires traveling to and ascending the structures, rigging, and use of power and hand tools to complete minor construction;

​

· Prepare reports detailing the findings of inspections, mappings, and summarizing completed work;

​

· Assisting other Engineering and Service personnel with the completion of other jobs which require a member of the company on site.

​

Job Qualifications

​

· Strong interpersonal skills.

​

· Strong ability to manage time / personal scheduling.

​

· Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

​

· An ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

​

· An ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a sometimes stressful environment.

​

· An ability to assist with the management of the scheduling, quality and completion of projects.

​

· Demonstrated multi-tasking skills and attention to detail are a must.

​

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

​

CIVIL FIELD TECHNICIAN

ANCHOR INSPECTIONS/REPAIR

$4,000.00 to $7,000.00 /mo

Civil Field

Job Responsibilities - Primary

​

· Perform Anchor Rod inspections of telecommunication structures. This requires traveling to and from site and working with a Mini Excavator or assisting a Mini Excavator Operator;

​

· Clean around the anchors with shovels, wire brush, hand grinders, etc to make inspecting easier;

​

· Record measurements with Tape Measure and Digital Calipers while taking notes and photos of work;

​

· Coat exposed rod with non-porous epoxy to extend the life of the structure;

​

· Backfill holes while maintaining a proper compaction rate as per given standard;

​

· Use a ‘Trash’ pump when necessary to mitigate groundwater flow in hole while completing SOW (Scope of work);

 

Job Responsibilities - Secondary

​
