The WAVESystem II is a pre-engineered, off-the-shelf structural reinforcement designed to increase the load carrying capacity of ANY sided monopole. Through full scale wind tunnel testing at LFST in Langley, VA, full scale structural testing at NIAR in Wichita, KS, the WAVE system is the most tested reinforcement in the tower industry today. IT WORKS!
Unique only to the WAVE series is the central stiffener plate (wave plate) that allows an increase in bolt spacing; saving money & time in installation while minimizing drag coefficients by as much as 30%. These wave plates are also used to accommodate step pegs, tx-line hangers & coax covers.
Capacity in the WAVESystem II is achieved through the ability to stack LIGHT, MEDIUM & HEAVY series base plates until the overstresses in the pole are eliminated. The WAVE plate is then installed, tying the system together in versatile 5, 7 & 10’ sections lengths. To upgrade the upgrade, it’s as simple as adding an additional base plate.
