The BLADESystem is a pre-engineered, off-the-shelf structural reinforcement designed to increase the load carrying capacity of ANY round monopole or pipe leg tower greater than 4”OD.
Through full scale structural testing at NIAR in Wichita, KS, the BLADESystem has been proven to work, exceeding calculated capacities.
The BLADESystem gains it’s strength through LIGHT, MEDIUM & HEAVY series channels, all increasing in cross-sectional area with AJAX™ bolts fastening the system to the pole (Box Bolts are used in smaller diameter pipe legs). The stresses in the pole determine what series of channel and quantity are required.
To upgrade the upgrade, it’s as simple as changing out any 5', 7' or 10’ BLADE with a larger series. Since the BLADE is standardized, no additional drilling or splice connections are required.
