The VERTx is a pre-engineered, off-the-shelf structural reinforcement designed to increase the load carrying capacity of ANY solid rod or pipe leg lattice tower (maximum 4” OD leg).
The VERTx is initially installed with U-bolts to stiffen tower legs at panel midpoints; however, to gain additional capacity, Box Bolts can be installed in pipe legs to share stresses (composite interaction) or lattice bracing to turn the VERTx into a full tower wrap (exoskeleton) to handle the entire load of the structure.
The 5, 7 & 10’ sections are connected together with the same standardized flange plates as the BLADE & WAVE series. New guy connections can be installed at ANY splice location making this system the most versatile on the market today.
